Permissions Required and Their Purpose

Battery Alarm requests the following permissions strictly to enable its core features:

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE
  Allows continuous battery monitoring in the background so the alarm can trigger at the exact user-defined charge level.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS
  Required to show persistent monitoring notifications and critical alarm alerts.
• VIBRATE
  Used to provide vibration alerts when the alarm is triggered.
• CAMERA & FLASHLIGHT
  Used exclusively for the optional Flashlight Alert feature, which blinks the device flashlight as a visual alarm.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
  Allows the app to restart battery monitoring automatically after device reboot.
• WAKE_LOCK & USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT
  Enables the app to wake the device and display the alarm over the lock screen to ensure the user is alerted.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
  Required solely for Google AdMob to load and display advertisements. The core alarm functionality works offline.

Data Security

All app-related data, including alarm settings, is stored locally on your device and protected by the standard security mechanisms of the Android operating system.

Children’s Privacy

Battery Alarm is not intended for use by children under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
